I think it’s a rumor at best. Hasn’t Bale expressed franchise fatigue in Batman press rounds? I’m not sure he’d sign on to do another series.
Speaking of signing on to do another massive saga…Viggo Mortensen is the frontrunner for this Stephen King fanatic and his Dark Tower fan roommate. Viggo or 1960s-era Clint Eastwood.
